EDMONTON – With speed to burn, leadership and championship pedigree, Kendra Fuller has lots to offer the MacEwan Griffins as an incoming rookie this season.
The 5-foot-2 J Percy Page product helped lead the St. Albert Impact to league and cup championships in 2025 as alternate captain.
Now, the attacking player will bring her talents to MacEwan as she kicks off a promising Canada West career in 2026.
"Kendra is a dynamic forward," said Griffins head coach Dean Cordeiro. "When you talk about engine, work rate and tenacity, I don't think there's a player who gets to goal in this whole class like she does. She has a knack for scoring goals and covering ground.
"She's lightning fast with the ball. That's the thing about Kenny when she attacks from wide areas and goes at players, she doesn't slow down, even with the ball at her feet."
After representing Edmonton Scottish in her youth, Fuller joined the St. Albert Impact 2009 team and made … an impact.
"She's a big piece of the team that won the club championship this past year," said Cordeiro.
With some of the best attacking players in program history graduated after last season, there is plenty of opportunity in the Griffins' offence for younger players to step up.
"Kenny's going to be someone who will be a major contributor for our program," said Cordeiro. "She's the type of player you hate to play against, but you love when she's on your team. She does not make it easy on an opponent.
"We're excited about Kenny's skill-set."
