For the season, Johnson is among the top goalies in Canada West with a 2.26 GAA and .930 save percentage. Both are third-best in the conference amongst goaltenders with 100+ shots against so far this season.

Brynn Hobal, seen in action against Alberta earlier this month, was the Griffins' player of the game in their quarter-final playoff match at Trinity Western last Friday (Husain Dhooma photo).
3rd STAR: Brynn Hobal, M, women's soccer
Edmonton, AB, third-year, Commerce
For a third-year in a row, Brynn Hobal was a major impact player for the Griffins in the opening round of the playoffs.
After being a difference-maker in MacEwan's 2023 quarter-final match vs. Victoria and again in their 2024 QF game vs. Trinity Western, Hobal was the team's best player in last Friday's 2025 first round match in Langley, B.C.
Against the TWU Spartans, she was named the Griffins' player of the game after she put in an incredible 90-minute shift in midfield, breaking lines, sticking tackles and drawing a couple free kicks. Hobal finished with one shot on goal in MacEwan's 1-0 loss.
The midfielder was the Griffins' co-leading scorer – alongside Raeghan McCarthy – in 2025, finishing with five goals and eight points in 13 games.
